Overview

458 acted for Beechmore Books on the sale of its notebook Amazon FBA brand to a private acquiror. Stephen Harris, the owner, entrepreneur and visionary behind Beechmore Books, had built the brand since 2019 adding category leading SKUs along the way, whilst at the same time building out his full-service global Amazon agency, Sitruna.

Nathan Lapsley, who led the 458 team said: “458 had been partnering with Stephen and Beechmore Books from when Stephen first decided to pursue an exit. We worked with Stephen’s accountants and M&A advisor to shape a deal that worked for the company and its shareholders – right from LoIs from various bidders through to the definitive asset purchase agreement with the preferred buyer. We are delighted to have achieved another successful closing for an Amazon FBA seller, and we wish Stephen all the best as he focuses on scaling Sitruna to even greater heights”.

Stephen Harris’ comments

“I was introduced to 458 as lawyers that have market leading experience of Amazon FBA M&A and they didn’t disappoint. The 458 team were super creative when issues came about during the negotiations and were always focused on driving the transaction towards closing. Their support exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend 458 to other sellers and buyers looking to exit or acquire an Amazon FBA business”
